I’m Kerri

Herbalist, farmer, mother, partner, adventurer, student of nature and forever curious about how we can support our bodies in the most simple, natural ways.

Passionate about making a difference… whether it is the environment we live in, or the environment of our bodies. Its all connected.

Putting Myself Last Took Its Toll on Me

I was always drawn to practical, down-to-earth ways to support health and well-being. As a single mum and holding down demanding senior management roles in the rush of city life, I gave everything to my kids, and everything to my employers, but like many in this ‘modern world’, I lost sight of my own care in the process.

Over the years, the stress, insomnia, digestive issues, and constant feeling of being “wired but tired” began taking their toll. Most days I felt I couldn't get through, but financially and for the sake of my young children I had to keep pushing myself to the limit. Looking after myself wasn't an option that I could even consider due to cost and perceived time constraints, and I felt I was becoming almost robotic in life. My children were healthy and happy, I was an ‘over achiever’ so my employers were happy, but I had absolutely forgotten about myself, and I had forgotten Nature.

Meeting my partner (who lived a lifestyle the opposite of mine) changed the way I looked at my life, my health, my mental state of mind, and my priorities.

It wasn't easy but I slowly began to rediscover the power of herbs, food as medicine, and a more holistic way of living. What's most important is that I felt it was ok to finally take my foot of the gas.

I still struggled terribly with insomnia, stress, anxiousness and all the things that go along with those imbalances, but these small steps planted the seed for what would become my deeper journey into my own healing and herbal medicine.

Finding Balance in Nature
& Following My Calling

Eventually a big life shift forced me to completely stop, and reconnect - with myself, the land and the natural rhythms I’d been missing. Losing my job in the city gave me the chance to move to my partners house in a quiet beachside settlement. Together, we began growing vegetables and learning about soil health, discovering how regenerating the land could benefit us, too. Eventually, we bought five acres at the top of the country, surrounded by beautiful beaches where we have a small organic market garden, and also grow herbs for my treatments.

This new chapter in my life has allowed me to pursue my passion for herbal medicine, and to gain the courage to really look inside myself and heal. Through learning a ‘sleep protocol’ in my studies and understanding which relaxing herbs are specifically suited to my body I now experience quality sleep. Understanding the nervous and endocrine systems means I can manage my stress better, and support myself with nourishing nervine formulas made just for me… so many good things come from being rested and nourished!

As a practicing herbalist, I’m advancing toward completing my Diploma of Medical Herbalism (DipMH) at the Southern Institute of Medical Herbalism deepening my knowledge of plants and healing, shaping how I support others on their path to better health.

Herbal Medicine:
Holistic, Natural
& Effective

What I love most about herbal medicine is how adaptable it is. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution—it’s about listening deeply, getting to the root of what’s going on, and tailoring support to fit the person in front of me.

I use a combination of ancient techniques like feeling the energy and life force through the pulse and ‘reading’ the tongue, alongside modern insights and research. Whether it’s through teas, tinctures, or lifestyle guidance, my goal is always the same: to make good health simple, accessible, and empowering for you.

Why I Do This Work

Herbal Medicine women, preparing personalised tinctures.

People often feel like good health is out of reach - too complicated, too expensive, or just not possible for them.
But I believe health doesn’t have to be that way.
It can start with small, realistic changes and grow into something transformative.

I’m passionate about offering people a choice. A choice to heal naturally, to feel empowered, and to create a life where they thrive. Supporting people on their journey-whether it’s addressing deep, chronic concerns or customising a specific formula for ‘every day’ concerns - reminds me every day why I’m drawn to this work.
