The Power of Nature in Your Healing Journey

Let's talk

For centuries, herbal medicine has provided a natural way to support the body’s healing process and promote long-term vitality.

A Holistic Approach with Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine is the oldest form of therapy known to mankind. It is both an art and a science, where whole plants are used to treat the whole person. These plants are carefully selected and then formulated by a skilled herbalist to improve health, prevent disease, and treat illness. With foundations in traditional healing across every culture, it is still very relevant and meaningful in the present day with many contributions to modern science and medicine.

I combine traditional herbal medicine and the principals of anatomy, physiology and phytotherapy to provide a natural alternative where a ‘person-centred’ approach is taken, rather than a ‘disease-centred’ approach. The goal is to get to the root cause of illness, not just treat the symptoms. Through a blend of herbal knowledge and a deep understanding of the heath sciences, I work with you to create personalised remedies that support your body, mind and overall well-being.

A Philosophy of Vitality and Balance

Many herbalists specialise in treating certain conditions; however, my approach is inclusive and not limited. I meet people where they are in their life, judgment-free and take the time to investigate and understand their unique health concerns. By addressing the root cause of illness and not just the symptoms or syndrome, we work together on a step-by-step journey toward better health and increased vitality.

My approach to herbal medicine is holistic, considering not only physical health but also mental, emotional, social, spiritual and economic well-being. I follow the vitalist tradition, which focuses on supporting the body's natural ability to heal by addressing lifestyle and nutrition alongside herbal remedies. Having a ‘global’ view on herbs means I am honored to be able to integrate herbs and remedies from different cultures in the care of my patients. When possible, I use wildcrafted plants grown on my own property which is both sustainable and cost effective, and also keeps me connected to the land.
